Oh no, there goes the election. Clinton tried the same thing to help Gore. Filling the SPR is almost the only smart thing Bush has done.

Kerry vows action to lower gas prices

Very disappointed in Kerry. Not a pip about conservation. And he is distancing himself from energy taxes -- the only effective way to cut energy demand and US dependence on foreign oil.
