US companies don't have a single hybrid car on the market, too busy with the suvs.

Japanese have three in US market.

Remember the 70's when buying a Honda Civic all of a sudden wasn't such a joke anymore?

As the controller at my company I am seeing energy surcharges on more and more vendor invoices. These surcharges aren't always freight related either. They are attached directly to products that are intensely energy related such as glass as well as fright delivery costs. Add those to energy increases in freight related distribution and manufacturing costs and we have a lot of pressure to increase end product pricing and we are starting to see those prices move up here and at our competitors.
