did you read the businessweek article that GDP is potentially overstated? We all know that it is mindmeld. 7% GDP with no jobs and deficits galore at the state and federal level just isn't believeable.

As far as 150K jobs/month, that is half of the last recovery. But I'll take what I can get at this point. I think we have about 2-3% GDP personally. My belief is along the lines of the BW article, that outsourced work is being counted with US GDP. No way to prove it, but thats sure what it feels like.

the economy is very strong right now and GDP is growing very nicely.

Only when measured in dollars, which are falling in value.
The economy as measured in gold or euros or oil is not doing well.
