>An enraged mob shot and killed four foreign reconstruction workers Wednesday, hacked the corpses to pieces and then suspended body parts from a nearby bridge. A group of men dragged one of the corpses into the street and ripped it apart, according to one report. Someone else then tied a chunk of flesh to a rock and tossed it over a telephone wire.

See why I don't like these people? This is the biggest reason I'm semi-supportive of Israel, though I really don't care much about it... I don't want to overgeneralize, but there's a bizarre and dangerous mentality among a significant portion of the Arab/Muslim population and it leads to scenes like this.

It's not to say that there aren't crazies everywhere... a couple of years ago I heard a Gulf War vet call a radio show and say that he and his platoon had found a corpse with the head lopped off by a bomb, and they took the head and placed it on the butt of the corpse and took pictures with it.

But, this is something we see frequently in the Middle East, including children participating scenes such as this one. It's a completely different mentality, one far more violent than our own, and I can't give these people the benefit of the doubt.

The "civilized world" is far from perfect, but it's nothing like this...
