That concerns me.

After two weeks in which Mr. Kerry arguably hurt himself with ill-chosen remarks, his campaign has tried to keep him from reporters. In one seven-day stretch, he met with national reporters once, in a session that lasted nine minutes.

I guess this has been typical of Kerry. He is ahead to start with. He then fades. And finally he provides the knockout punch. He has done this recently, he has done so even in his Senatorial campaigns. Besides, as someone said that this is all about Bush and why he wants a second term. Tat is going to be the first issue. Then it is going to be about Kerry.
