Wow. I think if you get 20 responses to your query, you'll get 20 different multi use printer ideas. I've got a 2 1/2 year old Canon MultiPass F50 that scans, prints, copies and faxes. The prints and copies are excellent. Very few problems. I happen to prefer Canon and Epson's stuff, although HP is coming right along. I don't like Lexmark, but these are just my personal preferences. As far as new models go, I couldn't tell you. I think each manufacturer comes out with at least three new ones a month....hard to keep up. Jerry

C, I been using a HP Photosmart Printer for almost two years, excellent quality photos, good prints in draft mode. Inks are pricey, but you have to find a re-filler to cut your cost. Also using an AGFA Snapscan, again no problems, can be hard to find, as has been replaced by newer model. Alex
