Many highly skilled people have been let go. Some do get new jobs - after many months of unemployment, but I know personally of many highly skilled that have not.

It is a fact, I can tell you that. All the good cheer and pep talk in the world does not change simple job facts.


Very true Matt...

To the person who lost their job the market fluctuations are not that important unless they have 401K's... With that said, the market perceives a lot... If it's rising in the face of bad job news, such as we've been having the past three years, you have to go with it... I've found that technicals in the market usually lead the fundamentals... As bullish as I now am, I could turn bearish if the market rythms acted bearishly... For now, the elevator is going up...
