I most likely won't be here to read the History Books of how future historians write about this time in our history. If the fears I have now come to fruition (and believe me I don't want them to ) this intrusion into IRAQ and these events that we read about everyday, with the amount of money we are sending there and the futile effort not only of rebuilding but of trying to institute Democracy in a land where various and conflicting religious men rule will not succeed and thus be a blot against this Country forever. Our debt is mounting,the needs of our people here are not being met Only the rich are profiting from this war, the ordinary GI is the one fighting it; The new Medicare Bill is a billion over the amount projected all ready......and we are sending our energy over to liberate a people where probably only the intellectuals or those who were oppressed by Saddam appreciate it. And a respondent to my last post says his reports from his friends in IRAQ are that they are fighting this war for God. Please help us.
