It's in our best interest to be skeptical of any and all economic reports because we know they are usually adjusted either up or down.

We need to keep an eye on the volume in the market. It's been pretty good for the SMH but the NASDAQ will need to advance on higher volume in my humble opinion or we might see another sell on the earnings news this quarter just like the last one.

In fact it could happen before earnings are released for NVLS for instance on April 12.

Sun and Gateway will not be in last month's numbers and their problems are company specific. I am surprised that the unemployment numbers have not improved before now. Some friends have seen job opportunities better than during the bubble.
