Agreed Matt...

Of course, that costs money... Will Congress be able to make the tough budget choices to allow for worker retraining as new trends clearly point to the elimination of jobs in industries or crafts that are becoming less important to our rapidly changing economic environment...

With big $$$$$ being spent for the foreseeable future to fight terrorism, and the ensuing budget deficits, it's hard to see where the money will come from... Perhaps healthy tax credits for worker retraining may be the answer... Here's an idea... Get members of the billionaires club, Gates, Buffet, etc. to kick in money to a managed equities fund to pay for worker retraining...
