well I'll be dammed, canyondweller, I thought you had it figured out but after carefully reading your postings I can readily see that you are still hung up on details, petty personality dislikes and the such....

we are fighting the "Idea of terrorism as well as the reality of terrorism" that is a fact.

I personally doubt that we can ever totally defeat the mindset of the middle eastern average street guy...

the Arab street is ignorant, illiterate beyond most of societies standards, they are un-developed countries, they live in a mental state of Crusader victim mentality, the Monarchs have kept it that way, the monarchs have paid the Mullahs to keep the unwashed masses in the darkness, it had worked up until 9/11.....

now they have just had their(Monarchs and leaders as such) bell rung by Bush, Cheney and friends and it is time for them to address the idea of terrorism and the "idea" that their support of terrorism will lead, quite possibly to their demise as well... and that is exactly what Afghanistan and Iraq has been all about....the use of Power as a demonstrative example against the Idea of terrorism......

cmon guy get in the real world....

Chucky from the right

I would like to recommend some authors of very current and informative material on the subject of the Middle East and Terrorism.....

try Thomas Friedman and Bernard Lewis for starters......
