Ok - I guess it can be said - the main liberals on this board claim that Colin Powell is a liar.

I think that's a stretch. Most of the people on this board have said that Powell was either duped or was incompetent. No one has said that he lied. But clearly he was wrong on many things. He can blame that on faulty intelligence. We seem to have a great deal of faulty intelligence. We need to look at who was presenting and distributing that intelligence. Much of it came from the administration, the Iraqi defectors, and Cheney.

Bob, I may be a classic "liberal" like our founding fathers, but I am not a big government liberal like the Right likes to criticize. In fact, I am a fiscal conservative Republican! (Of course, who are the big spenders now?<g>)

If you read my post, I said Powell may have been duped. I didn't call him a liar. Cheney is a liar. Rice is a liar. Bush may just be inept.
