What, trying to do the hit and run thing so that you don't have to explain and support (with facts) your position? Ooops. We 'handled' two world wars and countless smaller ones, we 'handled' the Great Depression, we 'handled' McCarthyism and Nixon, we 'handled' child labor, we 'handled' slavery.... What else do you think we should 'handle' again? Do you think deficits are good or bad? If good, why? If good, then we should have the biggest deficits we can produce so let's spend like banshees. The deficits will be with us even when rates rise. If rates don't rise, that'll be because our economy sucks. Can anyone else remember when, during a time of war, we cut taxes to boot?
