Do you think mergers or Tort lawyers cost more American jobs?

Re MERGERS causing the loss of MOST American jobs...What would Kerry do about that? What can the unions do about it? If companies can't make money, they either merge, downsize, or go out of business.

In the mid 80's to mid 90's, the "old reliable" jobs with firms like banks, CPA's, law firms, insurance companies, typewriter companies, carbon paper companies, etc etc....were 52 pick up sticks.

This happened mostly on Clinton's watch, and Bush's watch was there to get most of the ultimate fallout. It's a major miracle that the country is doing as well as it is, especially considering that we had 9-11 to deal with as well.
