These Chickenhawk folks, having never seen a war, seem to think that it is nothing more than a videogame. Maybe Dumbya is saying, "This is not fair! I declared the combat over almost a year ago!" now.

The violence in Iraq is starting to spin out of control. The U.S. military is just reporting that 12 soldiers lost their lives in one intense firefight, bringing the total dead to 18 for the day. And, that's just a preliminary estimate. It sounds like the number might be higher when we wake up tomorrow morning. It's easy for the American people to put far off wars into the back of their minds, but this Iraq conflict is starting to enter the American psyche in a major way. If things don't settle down, we'll reach the 1,000 American dead mark by the end of July.
