Yes, Jim, I believe you have it right. We need to be passionate with our loved ones, compassionate with people going through difficult times, and dispassionate as we decide where investment opportunities lie. I believe Walt Whitman said that "I am large enough to contain contradictions." To be alive is to deal with seemingly irresolvable contradictions. By the by, as a long time lurker, I have appreciated your thoughtful and measured comments over the years, though to be honest, I rarely follow through on your 13 week picks. >ggg< Have you any data on how your portfolio has done over the years, how it preforms in bull and bear markets, etc...
