The Bush Adm was following the same guidelines that were in place for Clinton Adm. In fact, Dr Rice retained Pres Clinton's national security team. Any reasonable person realizes that Clinton Adm with full knowledge of binLaden for 8yrs had the opp to shut down alQaeda before 9/11. Bush Adm barely had time to find the mens' room at the WH. Those of us who refuse to see the world through partisan glasses realize that both Administrations failed to identify the seriousness of the threat. Dems are just spinning their wheels in an effort to make political hay but it's a waste of time. They should concentrate on criticisms of the economy--voters are more concerned with those issues.
