OT - Yiwu, the Kurds want a separate country the Shiite want control all over Iraq including Kurds and Sunni, the Turkmen want part of Iraq to go to Turkey, the Assyrians would like a mini-state for themselves - now how can you satisfy all without a civil war whereby another minority will be massacred? Further Iran is eyeing total control of the area via their Shiite Clerics they sent to Iraq to stir unrest and warfare.

Further would strongly suggest for all those "SI Iraq or arab experts" to learn more about the history of the ME from India to the Atlantic Ocean (or better said the ancient empire of Alexander the Great from Macedonia) there are a very big diversity of nations which were suppressed by one or another empire over the last 2000 to 3000 years.

Best example are that Macedonia is now a small country - Armenia richardsmith.net almost non-existent, Tatars nowhere to be found, Assyrians, Phoenicians wiped out, Persia crystalinks.com evaporated under the rule of Islamic fanatics and the list goes on.

The historical fact is that several warriors tribes from the Arabic Peninsula conquered those nations and over time destroyed them of forced them to convert to Islam or face slaughter (read about the fall of Constantinople as to the strategy) no different than the Crusaders. Further many nomadic nation adopted isalm because imbedded in this religion can be found and interpreted the justification of war, assasination, pillage and to conquer other nations in the name of their prophet Allah

It would be also helpful to watch other more balanced reports about Iraq, in one example in one interview of BBC some well educated Iraqis demanded from the US to build their infrastructure within months – the reason - the US is the most powerful and riches country in the world - when asked why not the Iraqis themselves or other oil rich nation the guy went quiet and had no real answer changing the subject. Further when asked why Iraqis are not thankful to the US and UK for their liberation he responded that it was the will of "GOD" and not US or UK effort.

With such a mentality no wonder there is unrest
