Looks like it's a new one.

Run the online scanner at the bottom of the linked page. If you're running XP, turn System Restore off or you may get reinfected. Turn it back on after the problem is taken care of. For popups, the Google Toolbar is a good one. This is one I like.

You might also try AdAware to remove a lot of tracking cookies and malware. lavasoftusa.com

SpywareBlaster and Spybot Search and Destroy will help keep those baddies from ever reaching your machine.

JBinPA, popups
I am by far a computer person even though I own several of them for home and business but I have recently seen a lot of people infected with the Gain software from downloading freebie programs. A friend of mine called the other day with the pop up program. Everytime he went somewhere one would pop up and usually related to the site somehow, ex: he would go to brokerage page and a pop up for mortgages or finacial help would pop up. Anyway, he showed me what it was doing and sure enough at the bottom of the popup it had something like "brought to you by GAIN", LOL! not exact wording but it did identify it. I told him to download adaware and spybot. Ran the adaware and removed the files and then spybot to remove some other gain files.
