Bush thinks he can get away with gutting the environment to help out his energy buds and nobody will notice. Well, it turns out that a few states in the west like Nevada are going to dump Bush on his environmental standards alone. If the election is close (and I actually don't think it will be)- Bush has environmentalism to blame for his defeat.

Right, and the Bush admin dropped the action against Massey immediately and whacked the poor bureaucrat upside the head for trying to do the right thing.

Lie to the government for profit, ruin people's lives, poison the earth and you get a pass from Shrub.

Unbelieveable. Massey Coal is apparently above the law.
