I was struck by that line as well, although not quite in the same way you were. I almost commented on it when I read it.

I think he's dead wrong. Both think their biases are reality. Conservatives, though, go even further in claiming that it's just the liberals who think their biases are reality while the liberals don't consider the question at all. LOL.

Well, conservatives think their biases are grounded in reality too. They just have had to think out their positions a little more due to having to swim against the media tide. They have never been allowed the luxury of 'knowing' that of course it must be true, every educated person thinks so.
