My concerns are based on technical and indicator analysis. Short term if we get good enough news and outlooks then the market can rewrite those concerns of mine by setting new highs on growing volume for all the major indices.

Only time will tell if this will come to pass but I am correct to be concerned. Last quarter earnings and outlooks generally exceeded stated expectations and the market still sold off.

What will happen this quarter? I just looked at SMSC which met earnings expectations today and guided in line. The stock is up 4% today but about 30% below 52 week highs.

It's going to be interesting when NVLS reports tonight. The market is short term overbought but well off its highs set in January and February.

So a pullback to recent short term lows and then a strong rally to new highs would be an ideal scenario in my humble opinion.
