This is April. The election is in November. Kerry is far smarter than his boosters on this thread. He knows today's issues are not necessarily those of November.

AS for AS - he/she/it flames on - a great asset for we Repubs. Of interest - on TV tonight there was a story of a flame ad that the response groups found so offensive that it drove people away from the AS type position.

Fortunately AS flames on and illustrates the idiocy of the extreme left!

I think 9/11 isn't going to be a big issue. Imo, Bush bet his presidency on Iraq, if things get worse over there he will lose. The economy will hold up until the election, I think, but just muddling along, nothing vigorous.

From what I have been reading this morning, Kerry plans to keep the US military in control in Iraq if he is elected ... I don't think that will work. Other nations are not going to sacrifice their soldiers in order for the US to maintain a permanent military presence in the middle east. To get a real commitment of troops, either UN or Nato will have to be in charge.

On the way into work this morning I heard a blurb on the radio: "Hello, this is John Kerry and you're listening to WITK in Tampa, Florida"

He spoke in a complete monotone. The deejay followed it up with "Well that was quite underwhelming, sir"

He needs to juice up his presentation.
