Raymond > Formulating a precise definition of obscenity has proven to be impossible. Justice Potter Stewart summed up the problem with his famous oneliner: "I know it when I see it."

Especially this:

>>>Monday's reads "Pray that the President and his advisers will be strong and courageous to do what is right regardless of critics".<<<

Unbelievable. I have never seen anything like this. W forces religion down the throats of his unfortunate soldiers to put himself beyond reproach for his contemptuous acts and, indeed, make the soldiers party to them.

He and his "advisers" lie through their teeth and break the Commandments, but that is considered "strong and courageous to do what is right regardless of critics".

Thanks for the links Ray! I'm all for crucifying Bush instead of impeaching him. I can see a hill topped by Cheney, Bush and Rumsfeld on crosses!

Raymond > Great AMMO! I'll be firing that at some of the limp-wristed ministers and priests in town very soon. I wished I'd had that brilliant essay to hand over to the Christian ministry a couple Saturday's ago.

Here's another one.

>>>People are always asking me to stop complaining and suggesting something positive they can do fix the evil in this world. Well, here’s an idea.

Boycott your churches. Snub your synagogues. Ignore your mosques. Until those preachers come out foursquare for peace and justice, refuse to accept their pitiful propaganda.

The minute you start worrying about your immortal soul is exactly the point at which you lose it.

Besides, that’s not God who resides in most houses of worship anyway. It’s Moloch! It’s Baal. It’s Marduk. It’s definitely Mammon. The evil one, posing as your deity, teaching you how to pretend to be good rather than actually teaching you how to be good.<<<

And here's some expended cannon-fodder. All for a good cause, I suppose.

I read somewhere there were +/- 20,000 wounded --- and I'm not even mentioning the Iraqis. But then, they don't count.
