The problem with options is that the reward and punishment seem to be more a factor of the cyclicality of the tech sector than of the steady progress of the company. Too much luck seems to enter in.

Elmer, while I'm against expensing options, unlike you I'm not in favor of handing out options in a way that creates a doubling up on the way down simply due to a stock pattern that's like a sine curve - up, down, up down.

Are you talking about repricing? I don't know where you got the idea that I'm in favor of that. That's Jerry's trick.
