My grandson has a small (18" head to tip of tail) Iguana that might get loose one day. Might just end up on a hook in a lake in Honduras where BIG bass have been known to hangout. Seems someone in the 50's transplanted some Florida Largemouth Bass there and the bass seem to have taken quite well to their new environment. I've only read about them, but supposedly natives get the big ones with spears. The last one I remember reading about was forty-something pounds. Could just be the Honduran fishing guides trolling for tourists, but what if it's true? Oh, Lordy! I got a thrill from a 5-1/2 lb'er once. A 35 or 40 lb bass would be like dying and going to heaven and having "The Fisherman" for your guide.
