<Diplomacy will not work with religious fanatics who are determined to make you live according to their standards.>

Does this mean you are no longer supporting junior or are you just saying people will have to try something besides diplomacy with him?

Ann, you may be right that "[d]iplomacy will not work with religious fanatics who are determined to make you live according to their standards."

Diplomacy may, however, work with governments and populations who are not hopelessly committed to war. It worked with the old Soviets, it worked with Libya, it worked with Pakistan and it will work elsewhere. The Bush diplomacy failing are, however, all too apparent and much too costly. The "kill them, their friends, their families and their neighbors until they stop" approach has been and, will be, an abject failure as a policy.
