(You may remember that Clinton even had a Republican, who was a former critic, serve as secretary of defense in his second term.)

Maybe Bush will do the same in his second term.

As I recall, Clinton, who with 43% of the vote was distinctly a minority president, passed most of his first term legislation on a party-line vote in Congress.

Have you suggested to Kerry supporters that it would be wise to put George Bush in a Kerry cabinet should he be elected? Let me know what they think of that.

You know you expect too much, M. The closer the game, the sweeter the victory. You can't expect people to work their asses off in an election and not celebrate the win. The Dems would have done the same thing if they had won.
