Hi Lizzie,

This site sponsored by the LDS Church does not charge. Just put in your name and as much information as you can. familysearch.org

This commercial site genealogy.com does not charge for a search of matches, but in order to access the information you have to pay, except for the Social Security Death Index, which is one of the resources both search engines use.

Enter as much information about your person as you can. I've had pretty good luck, and I think you will too. Let me know if I can help.

You can check the Social Security death index for your person. If deceased, the name and social security number will show up. This information will also come up from the LDS site above.

Have you written or called to the OK City library, Business Desk, to get the City Directory area...Maybe they could check for you...and perhaps the Reverse Directory as well. If I am asking any institution to do something small for me, I always include a check for $2 or $3...sometimes they return it, and sometimes they cash it. Sometimes, they tell me the cost is greater than what I sent.

BTW, some of the Libraries in the country also have Directories from other cities. So if you are in a large city, call your own large library first, and see if they have the OK city directory...
