It's the cover-up, or the attempt to hide the true facts as in this case, that will get you every time.

Kerry has not run on Vietnam. You're delusional. On the other hand he did serve in Vietnam, and that is part of his record. He did receive three purple hearts a Bronze Star and a Silver Star. These are the facts. Now it appears that there are a group of disgruntled Bush supporting Vietnam vets that are trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill over the purple hearts. And this while Bush refused the opportunity to serve in Vietnam, dodged his TANG service by checking out to Alabama, and then left his post early to go to Yale.

If anyone has a right to be pissed off about a bogus military record It's Vietnam vets for Kerry.

Personally I think that this is a non issue, but if it becomes an issue it works against Bush. That's why this chatter of Kerry's purple hearts has been relegated to intenet hate sites and Kerry hater posts like yours.

Correct. Early on, he placed heavy emphasis on his military qualifications and experience in combat to try distinguish himself from Dean and others, plus GWB.
