With the level of automation that the US manufacturing lines have today, we can be assured of quality products, much better than foreign countries. Our products today is far superior in quality than what we produced several years ago

Getting back to what we were talking about yesterday - the auto - industry, I'd have to disagree. The auto makers still don't get it. GM, Ford and Chrysler have made strides in producing more reliable higer-quality cars than in the past, but they still are no match for the Toyotas, Hondas and Nissans of the world, not even the foreign badged cars that are manufactured in the U.S. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'd think long and hard before buying a Ford, GM or Chrysler product.
