Instead of hazarding a guess, he throws out an emotional "fishing lure">> "It's a disease of something."

I believe there is something much more specific involved here, and this person DOES know what that is. Perhaps he should contact an accredited "minimalist" scholar to find out why New Testament writers don't fit with other ancient historians.

I find it somewhat strange that you will not afford my views the same level "tolerance" that you demand of me toward yours. Why is that?

BTW... I don't have any problem accepting 1st or Second Peter as the God-breathed word of God. However for the purpose of the discussions here I was focusing on the earliest and universally recognized writings by Paul and Luke.
