The ONLY problem with "assault weapons" is that they accomodate large magazines, and can be converted into fully automatic weapons. There are plenty of rifles that are more accurate.

I have no problem with the "assault weapon" ban, but if we are going to do that, let's be consistent and ban any weapon with a large magazine, we can go back to killing each other with revolvers and shotguns, like civilized people.
