Chinu. You said...." tonto, the knock out punch will be when you put Kerry next to Bush in a Presidential debate."....

The ability to debate and/or be a good orator does not necessarily indicate honesty....clinton a very good example of this.

Hopefully the majority of American people will be able to see through the facade this time...I mean after the clinton experience.

Gees, I guess this has already happened when G.W. Bush was elected to be President.

Kerry had better be brilliant in a debate with Bush. Everyone knows Bush is a lousy public speaker. And the recent news conference established that (was that one of the purposes?). So few expect him to do well. And that expectation works against Kerry and for Bush. So Bush could do poorly and not disappoint anyone. But Kerry would be judged by a higher bar. Maybe you think it isn't fair but that's the way it is. OTOH if Bush merely does OK, he'll be successful.

Chinu, ya think? People said the same thing about Gore who was a much better debater, and he lost. Bush has been hammered the past two weeks with news in Iraq, new book,...and he is leading in the most recent poll today.
Kerry is in serious trouble, his followers just are not willing to be honest and admit it.
