After which the independent analysts went in and looked - they found that in fact Bush won.

What analysts?

Not only that but it was democrats that wanted to reject the laws regarding recounts and extend more time.

The US Supremes overturned the Florida Supremes on the recount...recounting stopped.

The main thing to keep in mind is not only the count, which was bastardized, but the disparity in voting means county to county. The targeted purge of black voters by Harris. Any analysis that does not take into account the entire picture in Florida's election is worthless.

Bush was not elected by a majority of Americans. He became president by a combination of dirty dealings, political pay backs and electoral quirks.

You can't say with confidence that the voters elect the president in America, because it was not the case in 2000. The voters picked Al Gore.
