Makes no difference to me.

Of course it doesn't.. Because I'm seriously beginning to believe that you would place Israel's interests over those of the US and the rest of the world with regard to diffusing Islamic militancy.

Are those settlements worth it Nadine? Is it really worth pouring rubbing alcohol on an open wound, infuriating NOT JUST PALESTINIANS, BUT MUSLIM YOUTHS AROUND THE MID-EAST??

We're (the US) trying to stem the tide of Islamic fundamentalism and build a case for an alternative future for the youth of the mid-east. All I see you doing is hoping to undermine that strategy. All for the purpose of giving a few hundred thousand Jewish settlers the ability to live in the heart of Palestine.

And this is different how? I keep asking you, what additional price do you think Israel will pay, that they aren't already paying?

And how is retaining those 6 blocs of settlements smack dab in the middle of the Palestinian state going to decrease the price they will pay in future years??

Fully one half of the IDF has been tasked with protecting Jewish settlements in the West Bank and Gaza. Wouldn't the proper solution be to pull back behind the 1967 lines (adjusted for security reasons) and building that wall so that neither Israelis or Palestinians have to pay any further price??

You keep talking as if there was a moderate opposition

How can anyone be moderate when Israeli actions like annexing those 6 blocs of settlements fuel their hatred and militancy..

One of the reasons there are few moderates is because Israeli actions put any moderates at severe risk of being called an Israeli collaborator.

And once again... if there are no moderates, then what's your beef with inserting an international force into the West Bank in order to give a moderate political alternative some breathing room?

You obviously have given up on creating moderation and peace in the PA. Well, you can surrender if you want, but the rest of us happen to understand that Palestine and Islamic militancy are inseparately linked.

Full scale with who? Syria? The Pals are at max already.

Geez... are you kidding? Hardly.. Sharon has just removed any hope of the Palestinians having any sort of contiguous form of state. All they will have are a patchwork quilt of balkanized populated blocs with no real control over their own borders.
