Looks like a big corruption warming up in the bullpen with the Iraqi oil for food program. The United Nations and France were dealing with Saddam for under the table cheap oil which enriched them handsomely while starving the Iraqi people.

Now, how is this going to play out with theKerry plan of turning administration of Iraq to the U.N.?

Looks like a can of worms to me. Bush may end up the good guy since he refused to go along with the U.N.

As much as I want Bush out, we may be trading our present screw-up for a much bigger one.

James

Phil > Bush ahead in the polls by a whisker

He's already won the election. All these polls etc are just to entertain the people.

> Maybe we can all look forward to an entertaining "trial" for Saddam.

Yes, day and night for weeks and months on every TV channel. At least, one hopes it will give Al Qaeda a chance to have a rest.

> Would this trial be held before US presidential elections?

Before, after and for as long as necessary (which could be twenty years), to divert attention from the debacle in the country itself.

By the way, have you seen the chart of the silver price? Classical "blood bath", reversal spike --- with more "blood-letting" to come.
