The rightwing is calling every war hero a "traitor" nowadays, so long as they are in the democratic party. They also fail to mention that the well-equipped and trained Clinton military invaded Afghanistan and Iraq successfully. It wasn't until Cheney-Bush people took over after the invasion that the gross failures began and our troops started dying at a fast clip. Why any pro-military people back Cheney-Bush is beyond me. Two draft-dodgers who use the military as their pawns and props, cut the medical benefits and leave them like sittingf ducks twisting in the wind for dishonest political reasons.

Remeber what the GOP did to the Sen from Georgia that lost his legs and an arm in Nam? They called him a traitor!

Do you have a link for that?

My recollection was that there was discussion of the fact that he was injured as the result of a so-called "friendly grenade," but I sure don't recall anyone calling him a traitor.
