CR, I mean no disrespect to you. I believe we could have an intelligent discussion or the issues. The point I am trying to make is that those who think the UN is the answer to the problem are not fully addressing the issue. The only issue they want - and want desparately to keep - is a hammer to hit Bush with.

If they think that involving the Europeans is going to ease our pain in Iraq they have to believe that the world - most likely Germany and France - are going to contribute significantly to the fighting. I simply do not believe that.

So - is the issue to hit Bush - or is the issue to fix Iraq?

In your opinion - how would the situation be different if the UN was in charge?
