To hear someone complain that their macro shots all came out back focused and yet not realize this during the shooting itself seems to be a pretty weak argument.

Hear ya.

But the chart test that followed was another matter altogether.

Yeah, some people figure that the camera should do it all for them. They buy expensive golf clubs using the same theory.

One of the guys just posted some comments on back-focusing that I found interesting. It's different than I had assumed.
