Catholics know what God wants because His Church tells them what He wants; Protestants know what God wants because he enlightens each person individually on this subject; Jews know what God wants because whatever is good for them is what He wants; I don't know enough about Moslems to know how they know what God wants, but they seem pretty confident about it. One point of view I could never understand was atheism. In my kitchen is a large rock used as doorstop. On the underside of it I have written "GOD" with a marker. I invite any atheist to take off his or her shoe and drop that rock on his or her foot. They may not want to admit that anything important has happened, but they will believe in something named GOD if they do that. Not much, but a start.

Hope this ain't clownin' around to much <g> ..

>No, not at all <

good .. There are many folks out there who are actively anti God. I have to wonder what percentage of those have really thought it through.

What is the cost to themselves and society. Do we wish to declare our country to be Gods enemy? What would the cost be if that were the wrong move .... Would you like that kind of enemy? Not a pleasant thought.

BTW .. separation of church and state does not exist in the US constitution. What is there, is that no elected official will have to pass a religious test to hold office.

It's funny and sad .. we have free speech .. except to pray.
