I am supporting the liberation of Iraq. The path we were on with Iraq was quite destructive to the Iraqi's and needed to end one way or another. I support the need to change the course of Islam before they destroy us. Only a progressive Islam with hope that they will improve in this life will be one that we will have any chance of coexisting with. I am not a religious person so I cannot quote what the Bible says about war. My brain says we have ignored the welfare of the Arabs for over 100 years. Since many of them have vowed to destroy us and the conditions exist to increase those who vow to destroy us, we must change their conditions and destroy those who would destroy us now. My brain says that with 2/3 of the worlds oil in the Persian Gulf, we cannot ignore the security of the region.

Do you think there was no violence back then? islam terrorists agree with violence it's how they force their brand of religious hate on the free world. Reading scriptures or turning the other cheek will not save us from islam terror. Turn the other cheek and you end up with no cheeks. IMO only violent and brute force will stop the advance of islam terror. IMO islam terror uses those weak areas in our democratic system to kill us. There is only ONE way to deal with islam terror.
