With Offshore Flo back in town, the temp reached triple digits today. My peas were a little wilted. Having problems with the beans. They're being eaten before they get started. So I'm going to try planting them in small containers until they get a good start, and then transplant. We'll see. Talking to my daughter that's going to Sonoma State, I'm surprised at how much more rain you get north of SF bay. Other than a trace, it stopped in March around here. I haven't heard any rationing talk, but it's going to be a dicey year. Using plenty of mulch, I'm still hoping for a good garden. lurqer
