Michal, I am in deep trouble if what you posted is true.

I do have CD-R's which are 4 years old that I made after my early digital experience.
These are still perfectly OK. I read somewhere that DVD's have an inherent error rate
during recording that is higher than CD-R. Nonetheless, I am archiving multiple CD's
on a single DVD as a back up. I also plan to buy a multigig flash drive or CF card
as a third backup of key photos only.

What archival system do you like? Do you have a dedicated external hard drive?
