It was obvious that Bush would resort to Smear and Fear. Does anyone care whether Kerry tossed his medals or his ribbons 33 years ago? I didn't think so. Yawn ... another non-issue.
The issues remain: the economy (2.5 million private sector jobs lost while running HUGE deficits ~$700 billion over the last 12 months), security (who got us into this mess in Iraq? Bush. Who has a plan to get us out? Kerry) Healthcare (America should be embarrassed compared to the rest of the first World). Environment / Energy policy.

Those are the issues. Kerry wins easily on the issues, so Bush is left with Smear and Fear.
