You would have to go back and quote Nassar and how he was going to "drive the Jews into the sea."

Nasser never said that. That was a fabrication of Israeli propaganda.

"Quoting Ben Gurion who was a great man of his time is really not adding to the debate. You would have to go back and quote Nassar and how he was going to "drive the Jews into the sea."

Ruff, my entire posting was in response to Nadine's post concerning Brahimi "Brahimi said his job was complicated by Iraqi perceptions of "Israel's completely violent and repressive security policy and determination to occupy more and more Palestinian territory.""

I was just trying to show that what this Brahimi person said was just a statement of what the Iraqi people felt in his opinion. Then I tried to show that a lot of Israelis are determined to occupy more Palestinian territory including founding fathers, including Robert Barry on SI, and including many in the Likud party. I'm not saying most of Israelis.
This is a statement of fact just like the statement "many Iraqis with their mustache look just like Sadam"

I was trying to say that Nadine trying to charactarize Brahimi based on what she quoted didn't show that he was biased. He only stated how he thought Iraqi's felt.

It's not a slur on Sharon. It has nothing to do with him.

Ruff, I just saw this post from Robert Barry on this thread, while I had 15 minutes to edit "A Greater Israel, which included the West Bank and Gaza, would prove the Pal-Arabs with a much better life and a much better standard of living."

It is this "Greater Israel" thing that has Europe concerned and mideast concerned. It's the big elephant sitting in the middle of the room.
