Your comments are internally inconsistent and
also inconsistent with Kerry's behavior yesterday...

After having stated in 1992 that Vietnam should not be
injected into modern politics, and in February 2004 that
he would make no issue of Bush's National Guard service,
yesterday, in what seemed to be a fit of pique, he
re-levelled the guns on the old AWOL charge.

That was a huge mistake for him, IMO. His first two ideas
would have elevated him. Instead, he's directly joined
the fray on that issue and did it in a childish way.

That bespeaks the lack of good advisers/handlers
and poor judgment.

How would he behave in a real national crisis if he
can't function after the heat of Charlie Gibson questions?<g>

Jon Stewart had best comment on Kerry's 1st purple heart wound. He quoted the campaign website description ... "removed small piece shrapnel from above elbow, applied antiseptic---patient demanded a Snoopy bandaid".
