Go for it. It doesn't hurt :-) as long as people are within bounds of TOU

Why don't you publish the list of banned posters before opening the jail doors. I suspect there are a couple who should remain on life sentences...

If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it... why the sudden amnesty? Didn't you ban them for a reason? What makes you think they rehabilitated? You may end up banning them again... if you must release them, then how about a zero tolerance policy... one screw up and they're gone... but I would vote, keep them out...

Yes, making it a strict rule about the number of posts in a time period. Two weeks off if it's violated.

The rule is 20 messages in six hours.

Those that tend to over do it will not likely be able to hold back so you WILL have something to do.;)......sorry..

First I'll respond, then I'll see what the other five so far have said.

I thought this thread WAS unmoderated, and that nobody was banned except for violating SI rules (like soliciting, such as that committed by a certain unnamed individual whose initials are _D). It's pretty much of a free for all already. Keep it like it is.

It's much more interesting than the John Kerry thread. Nobody over there but democrats.

I know this thread has been done both ways, but I would lean toward supporting the 1st Amendment. As far as the real characters go, they hurt their cause more than help.
