Chinu, he did not state that our country is a safe place. You took a giant leap from what he wrote, which is the following:

I for one say thank you President George Bush for the strong leadership he has exhibited in making our nation a safer place.

and falsely blew it up to not being our nation, but the whole wide world:

One year after "Mission Accomplished" soldiers are still dying in Iraq. And you say the world is a safer place? Excuse me, am I missing something here?

Now you are incorrectly following up your first incorrect follow up, and using a nonargument as your position to state that "it is wrong to assume our country is safe".

He never said it was safe. The preparations made, new security policy, TSA, has in fact made our country more safe, than it was previously. It does not make it a safe place, as the country is too large to be able to guarantee that there will be zero terrorist actions taking place.

Please stay on point.
