That was very well said. To participate in war is to have to be inhumane. At least some of the time. And doing it using mercenaries is like what most people do with their meat purchases: ignore the horror by outsourcing the bloody and disgusting work.

The problem with that would seem to be the amount of "ignore - ance" one has to have. Where's the rhetoric of Mark 5:38 and 5:43? I'm afraid war is fought person-to-person, but is planned and waged by people that don't check their facts or use "belief" and "prayer" in lieu of good information. Even the information from their own Bible.

I don't condemn the entire military, I am just saying that nothing justifies the torture that we saw on video today - and it was torture.

I am ashamed that those solider wear the US flag on their uniform. They shame the entire US.

Those that did the torture should be dismissed with a dishonorable discharge, and brought up on charges. There is not excuse for their behavior.
